Best Team Setup for Early to Mid-Game Progression?
#4
Both of those replies give solid advice. I’d also add that in the early to mid-game it really helps to keep things simple and focus on consistency rather than chasing perfect synergy right away.
For me, the biggest improvement came from building around a reliable frontline and a steady source of damage. A sturdy tank plus a healer/support already makes campaign stages much more manageable. Then you can experiment with the last two slots depending on what heroes you’ve pulled.
Events are definitely worth doing like Jekimoh mentioned. Even if you only participate a little, the hero rewards can boost your team power quite a lot. Those 700+ PL heroes make a noticeable difference in campaign progression.
One more small tip: try not to upgrade too many heroes at once. I made that mistake early on and ran out of resources quickly. It’s usually better to invest in 4–5 core heroes and build the rest of your roster slowly around them.
Curious what heroes you’re currently using. Sometimes just swapping one role (for example adding a healer or a debuff hero) can make those tougher stages much easier.
