As a player, I never max any evolves but the last two because the difference is so small. In fact, I will often do a 'quick and dirty' evolve where even the last last two heroes are at lvl 1. If resources are low I'd much rather evolve at lvl 1 than have a hero sitting in my library, useless, for months.

I did test if maxing the attributes had an effect since a post on the old forum said so but I found it did not.

One more question, let's say I want to get the legendary slime from two epic 4* (not perfect slime)

Do I need to evolv these epic slimes in the same way as if I improved the heroes, so that this slime is not worse than the legendary slime that I already have
I.e, ((1 * + 1 *) + (1 * + 1 *)) + ((1 * + 1 *) + (1 * + 1 *)) + ((1 * + 1 *) + (1 * + 1 *)) + ((1 * + 1 *) + (1 * + 1 *)) (all slimes lvl 100)

or so enough (((1 * + 1 *) + 1 *) + 1 *) + (((1 * + 1 *) + 1 *) + 1 *) (all slimes lvl 1), and after evolution, this slime will be the same as other legendary slimes?

Power more or less, its not importend. Some abilitys do the same damage even with 50 Power difference. The game is coded simply. Some abilyts have more damage with higher Power level but it's unreal. Than you you have a few hundreds more damage. It's a Bonus but Bonus is small, very small.

Kesa, I agree with Mr Insight. I don't think anyone maxes the evolution of slimes. Or that it would be worth it to do it. You may get 1 or 2 more in final Power Level but it will have no importance.

I took The Watcher at lvl 1 as it was “born” evolved it with a lvl 1 abyss slime and finally reevolved it with a perfect mythic slime... as you advised us! So why my evolved hero has 615 power now when most of 3 lvl Watchers have 617??  Angry

I figured I'd just make a post because I don't wanna make a whole new thread, but here's some extensive info players might find useful regarding maxing out evolution. Excuse my laziness in explanation/drawing I'm doing this way past bedtime.


We all know about the "perfect evolve". This is how I learned it:

(It says slime but ofc doesn't have to be. Materials are scarce tho, use slimes when possible!)

Now the idea for what I'll call an "Extended Perfect Evolve", "Endless Maxing Evolve" or simply just "Extended Evolve" is you can make your 4*'s (or 2*'s or 3*'s I guess) PL even higher by making the previous evolution materials stronger by making materials for them stronger at first.
You can pretty much push this endlessly depending on your resources but the incremental becomes so small it's not worth it as the PL won't go up further than a certain amount that I don't think anyone has the resources to even attempt collecting data on anyway.

But the basic idea is: Adding 3*'s to a 1* until that 1* becomes a more powerful 3*. And then use that 3* as material for another 1*. And keep going for infinity. You get the point.

My latest resource dump on this was with Magcryx the Lonely.
I received 5 from the event so those and some slimes was what I had to play with.

This is what I made:

Explained:

  1. I made 4 of them into 2* with PL 799 but I probably could've done some of them higher, including the 1* that I left at 1* for whatever dumb research reason went through my head at the time.
  2. I added one of my 2* with another 2* making a 3* with PL 846
  3. Then I added one of my last two 2* with my 1* making it a 3* with PL 840
  4. Lastly I added my 3* PL 846 to my last 2* making it 3* PL "stronger"
  5. And finally added my 3* PL 840 to my 3* PL "stronger"
 (calling it "stronger" because I forgot to screenshot and my other accounts crashes a while after upgrading or evolving their last 1* Magcryx lol)


Now what I earned through doing it this way was only 5 PL over _EZ_ who perfect evolved their Magcryx into 4* PL 883.
And that's such a small increase anyway that it's not actually worth it. This is because the dmg output and defense is calculated with more variables and is not a set value and gives a somewhat random outcome, as well as some abilities seemingly being dmg locked. How any of all that is calculated is beyond what anyone's been able to tell.


Important to note:
  • IIRC this only works with legs and mythics as adding a 2* or 3* to a 1* only increases the * by 1* unlike epics which evolves to a higher * by using higher * materials.
  • When evolving, your first selected hero, the left one on the evolution screen, is the one that you add power to when evolving. The right one is only the material. This gets obvious when adding a slime to your evolution. Just making it extra clear for everyone trying to learn about evolving. An important step in extended evolutions!
  • Adding a slime that's more than 1* does not give an increased effect as they still only mirror the PL at the same level of your selected hero which caps at lvl 100. Also, perfect evolving slimes gives basically no additional PL at all. If you want extended evolves, focus on heroes.
  • Gear does not affect PL when evolving. This is a myth. Same goes with upgrading Attributes. If it would make a change then that would've been very obvious at our current PL increase on new heroes. However gear can sometimes (very rarely) vanish when equipped during evolutions, so if you care about certain pieces, exchange them with less valuable ones before you evolve using that hero.

Side note:
I've also done this with 4 or 5 Marius the Patient (Mythic 3*) which resulted in PL 850 (perfect evolve = 838). Now when I just checked it has changed to 842. This is not due to the numbers sometimes being saturated after evolve which resets after relog, but after what seems to be a change in PL values after time. Interesting case which I def wanna know more about.


Edit:
On an alt I just added a Magcryx 3* PL 840 to a 3* PL 846 and it became PL 888 as well, even after relog. Very interesting!
